| Sep 11, 2026 | The CMS analysis I work on, Improved results on Higgs boson pair production in the 4b final state, is published in Physical Review D. It sets the most stringent constraints on $\mathrm{HH}$ production in the 4b final state to date. I was responsible for the trigger and neural network jet tagger calibrations in this publication. |
| Jun 25, 2026 | Our paper High Multiplicity Trigger for Long-Lived Particles in CMS Detector is published in JINST. The paper presents a dedicated trigger that targets unusually large hit multiplicities in the CMS muon detectors, a characteristic signature of long-lived particles decaying in the muon system, substantially extending the CMS sensitivity to such signatures during LHC Run 3. I contributed the electron+MDS and muon+MDS cross triggers, which were accepted into the CMS trigger menu in 2023. |
| Apr 30, 2026 | The CMS analysis I work on, Improved results on Higgs boson pair production in the 4b final state, is now public and submitted to Physical Review D. It sets the most stringent constraints on $\mathrm{HH}$ production in the 4b final state to date. |
| Dec 06, 2025 | RINO was selected as a ML4PS workshop spotlight at NeurIPS 2025, an honor offered to about 1% of the workshop’s accepted papers. I presented the spotlight talk and poster in San Diego. |
| Nov 16, 2025 | An Evaluation of Representation Learning Methods in Particle Physics Foundation Models is available as arXiv:2511.12829 and was presented at the ML4PS workshop at NeurIPS 2025. The paper systematically compares contrastive, masked particle modeling, and generative objectives for particle physics foundation models within a unified framework. I served as a mentor on this work, led by Michael Chen. |
| Sep 08, 2025 | Our paper RINO: Renormalization Group Invariance with No Labels is now on arXiv. We pretrain transformers on unlabeled jets with DINO-style self-distillation, improving out-of-distribution generalization over fully-supervised training. |
| Aug 18, 2025 | I presented Representation Learning of Jets with Physics-Informed Self-Distillations at the ML4Jets 2025 workshop, hosted at Caltech. |
| Apr 15, 2025 | The CMS barrel timing layer, test beam confirmation of module timing performance is available as arXiv:2504.11209 and is published in Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section A. The paper demonstrates that the final detector module design achieves the target $30$ to $60~\mathrm{ps}$ time resolution, radiation tolerance, and response uniformity for the High Luminosity LHC. I contributed to the QA/QC procedure, assembled detector modules and trays, and performed thermal cooling studies of the module. |
| Mar 20, 2025 | I presented neural network tagger calibrations for the search for nonresonant Higgs boson pair production in the four bottom quark channel with Run 3 CMS data. |
| Nov 07, 2024 | I presented Lorentz group equivariant autoencoders at the ML4Jets 2024 workshop in Paris. |
| Jul 19, 2024 | CMS-PAS-HIG-23-012, the search for highly energetic Higgs boson pair production in the two bottom quark and two vector boson all-hadronic final state, is public. I contributed event-selection optimization to this analysis. |
| Oct 30, 2023 | JetNet, an open-source PyTorch library for machine learning in high energy physics, is published in JOSS. I contributed to the package alongside lead developer Raghav Kansal. |

| Jun 09, 2023 | My first-author paper Lorentz Group Equivariant Autoencoders is published in The European Physical Journal C. The paper develops an autoencoder equivariant to the Lorentz group that outperforms GNN and CNN baselines on unsupervised anomaly detection. |
| Apr 09, 2022 | I presented our H to WW* tagger for the CMS experiment at the APS April Meeting 2022. |
| Jul 06, 2021 | I presented Lorentz group equivariant jet autoencoders at the ML4Jets 2021 workshop. |
